INTERVIEW TO NICOLLE SCHWARTZ

1.- what is your name? Why have you two name?

My name is Nicolle Tiffany Schwartz and i have two names because that is very common in the U.S.

2.- About what language do you think?

I speak two languages because my dad is American but my mom is from Venezuela. It is very easy because i know both languages very well. I think in English.

3.- When you want to say a word in a language have you to think in English or in the first Spanish?

I hear the voice in my head in English

4.- It does not turn out to you difficult to mix both languages.?

No i know both languages very well

5.- You realize when you change language or do it unconsciously.?

No sometimes i switch languages and i don't even realize it.

6.- Though your family speaks Spanish to you it likes to speak with them in Spanish or in English.

I have to speak with my father in english because he does not speak spanish but i prefer to speak with my mom in english anyways

7.- When we speak in Spanish do you understand everything what I say to you?

Yes! even though spanish is spanish, it is very different

8.- It is difficult to you to understand me when I speak to you in English.?

Sometimes, because of the accent

9.- Venezuelan you can compare the being better like they are the relations here. Are we so different strictly between ourselves like with the language?

No! even though i speak spanish a lot of the words and expression are very very different!

10.- Did you like to have a Spanish woman in house?

I loved having a Spaniard at home!!!

Boston....Last day!!! =D

this day was the last day that we went to see the beatiuful city of Boston. this city is very ancient.
this day, a guide disguised of many years ago. she told us many things of Boston and we visited with her different parts of the city, one of them was a cemetery.

The walk along Boston with the guide was very interesting. We saw the house of a former great writer Andersen.

We enter to the town hall also. I liked much the great dome of crystal.

There also we saw a monument to the nurses of the war.

Also we visit The Hard Rock of Boston. This time his walls were not done of guitars as the Hard Rock of New York but of plates of batteries

CELTICS GAME!!!! RED SOX SATADIUM!!! =)

we went to see the Red Sox Sadium, the name is Fenway Park, it was very big.

then we went to see the Celtic´s game.it was very impressive. Everything was so amazing. We ppeared six times on the giant screen. The Boston Celtics won the game.

HALLOWEN!!! =D

Hallowen is a great party here. it´s very important for all the people.
All the houses are decorated many days before. In the gardens of the houses many adornments are put, for example ghosts ... etc.

for the Hallowen party, my family give me a disguise of medieval lady.

NEW YORK!!!! =)

i love New York. when i stayed there i feel like an ant. all the building were skyscraper.

the first that i did went walk for The Fifth Avenue. then i saw Rockefeller Building. i drank a Frapuccino of vanilla in Starbucks Coffee. then i entered in a NBA shop. i went to Apple shop too. they were very big.

then we walked for Central Park is  brilliant. there, a lot of people was taking photos with a formal clothes. in Central Park we saw the plate that they had done in John Lennnon's commemoration. Near the park the building was Dakota in the door of this building they murdered Jonh Lennon. i was very sad when i saw this. i think that John lennon was a freat man. =)

then i went to see the Zone O, there it is the place when The twin towers were. there, now, there they are doing now a much bigger tower in the right side and in the left-handed they go it makes park one to remember the terrorist victims of the assault. i saw a monument for the victims who died for the collapse of one of the towers.
Later we went to see our hotel. It was very big and his entry was precious. it was The Park Central New York.
then, we went to see the musical "In the Heights", the musical was in Inglish but something was in Spanish. when they changed we were turning little crazy. because in our minds translating everything what we heard and when they were speaking in our language .... pff. it was difficult for us.

Later the teachers left us to go alone for Swindle Square. it amazing , it was by night but for the lights of all the buildings it seemed by day. we went to Hard Rock. there the walls were done of guitars.

we appeared on American Eagle's giant screen during 20 seconds. This they were our 20 seconds of fame.

After that we visit the shop of the M&M that was giant and we did photos to ourselves with many things inside.

The next day we went to see the statue of the freedom. I believed that I was much bigger even like that it seemed to me to be very nice. this day was very cold For the strong wind that it did in the ship of way to the island.

We could see three states. the views were really beatiful. i love it.

after that we went to see the headquarters of the ONU.

this is the best trip that i made. it was fantastic.

Diegi, Javi, Pablo, Carlos and me went with my family to Boston, there, we saw the library, it was very majestic in the entry was two lions to every side. The ceilings were very high. We did many photos though we remove the flash not to be a nuisance. then we tried to rise to the last floor of a skyscraper but we couldn't do that.  we went to eat to a big build only of food. then  we saw a beaty view of the sea.  we saw Hard Rock too.The worst of the day was the unbearable wind.

3. Party in the U.S.A!!!

in the morning we had got a normal lessons, but when we finished it, we went to a big Mall, there we bought a lot of things in shop that in Spain do not exist, since for example: Vicitoria's secret, American Eagle, Abercrombie or a shop in which  you can do your own bear of felt.

in the afternoon, we went to a party in Sean'house he is the Crstina's host. there we were dancing. it was funny.

HARVARD!!!!!!

in the morning, we were to Keefe Tech, there we visited all the clasroom, for example:Classes of kitchen, of carpentry, of plumbing etc. it was very interesting. we ate there.
in the afternoon, i went to Harvard with Sandra, Diego and Marta. Harvard was impressive. All the residences were super nice.

NEWPORT!!!

We was seeing a lot of mansions. it was fascinating. the house was very big. they belong to the government. What I am charmed with me of the mansions they were the gardens. They all were very green and flowery.
the first mansion was "The Breakers", it was the biggest. it had a big terrace with a view to the sea. the second mansion and the last mansion was "Rosecliff". it was less big. but the views of the sea were very very beatiful too. when we came to Milford, we spend some minutes in the Gillette Stadium Patriots. it was enormous.
